Way2Go Adventures is offering Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) sessions for all ages and abilities. SUP is available in a wide variety of locations including on the River Wye and in the Forest of Dean, plus we travel to the Welsh coastline and inland British waterways (canals in Wales and Gloucestershire). Stand Up Paddle Boarding is an exciting, fantastic activity that is sweeping the globe and growing in popularity.
What Equipment Do I Need For Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)?
You need to wear clothes and footwear that you are happy to get wet in for the weather conditions, please try to avoid cotton and jeans as when they are wet they stay cold. A t-shirt and shorts are fine for hotter days, and thermal clothes such as a fleece jumper and thermal leggings/shorts for the colder days.
Other items to bring include something to drink (e.g. bottle of water), a snack (e.g. fruit), a hat suitable for the weather conditions (e.g baseball cap or woolly hat), sun cream (remember the sun is stronger on the water!), sunglasses, and anything else you may need for the session or afterwards (e.g. medication).
Way2go Adventures is pleased to offer Stand Up Paddleboarding activity sessions here in the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley with the support of the Forest of Dean District Council Economic Development Fund.
