If you feel that call, I warmly invite you to join me for a deeply special day of creativity, connection, and intention as you create your own handcrafted Medicine Drum and beater.
Held in a beautiful, secluded broadleaf woodland beside a flowing stream near Tiverton, Devon, this immersive one-day workshop offers the chance to step away from everyday life and reconnect with nature. Surrounded by birdsong, ancient trees, and the gentle sounds of the stream, we’ll gather in a circle to honour the timeless tradition of drum making.

About the day:
Throughout the day, you’ll be gently guided as you create your own traditional rawhide Medicine Drum using Deer hide and a 14-inch Oak frame, weaving your prayers, intentions, and personal journey into every stage of its creation. Together we’ll honour the gifts of Deer and Oak with gratitude and respect.
During the day, you’ll:
Create your own 14inch Medicine Drum and matching beater
Learn traditional drum-making techniques
Work with intention and mindful presence
Connect with the spirit and story of the drum
Take part in a gentle Drum Awakening Ceremony
Leave with a beautiful, sacred companion crafted by your own hands
No previous experience is needed—just an open heart.

Price: As I complete my drum-making training, I’m offering this workshop at a reduced price of £195 per person, with small group numbers to ensure an intimate, supportive, and nurturing experience.
